Edin Abadzic was born in 1965 in Brcko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He works as secretary in Association "Fondeko" Sarajevo, one of the leading environmental NGO's in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Abadzic is also involved in environmental journalism. He published more than 300 articles and contributions in journals "Pcelarstvo" (Beekeeping); "Sezam"; magazine "Fondeko svijet" (Fondeko World); radio programme also named "Fondeko World", daily newspapers "Oslobodjenje"; news agency "Hrvatske eko-vijesti" (Croatian eco-news) and some other media from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Edin Abadzic took part in international environmental seminars and workshops: "Communication and language skills" (England 1997, organised by Europarc Federation); "Media and Environment (Hungary 1999, organised by REC); "Protected areas and Environmental NGO's" (Hungary 2000, organised by REC and Europarc Federation) and in many seminars and workshops on local, national and regional level.
